The Rax
We started in Purkersdorf and took the more scenic route to the Rax. Towards the end the roads were not paved and it was a challenge to get up and over the pass to the Rax.

Couch Surfing
I'm trying to couch surf my way to Octoberfest since I already made it more than half way. My friend Sean introduced this site to me and said it was great when he traveled now I'm hoping to test it out abroad.

Club Tille
This was out in the country, walking up to the place reminded me of Tercero (my college dorms) because I was bombarded with the nostalgic smell of cow. The dancers only savior was the wind blowing underneath them but they get brownie points for trying to dance
Club Couture
Club Couture and Prata Dome I heard were the two main places that you would want to go if you like the night scene. They are both more upscale than some of the others (like out in the country like Tille -dont remember the spelling) but the other club are good if you dont like the "im tighter than you" feel that both Club Couture and Prata Dome have
Full disclosure: I've only been to Club Couture and Tille I will have to wait and see what Prata Dome is like
Seems to be pretty common to have female dancers (sometimes male like at TIlle) at every club. The only thing is that some of them are totally offbeat and seem like they are just wobbling around to their own austrian song. oh and most of the music at the RnB or Rap sections are american songs that most Austrians know better than I do
My Home in Purkersdorf Austria
This is nice room Walter and Maria had set up for me. They spoiled me with a TV, VCR, and a boombox. My first movie is going to be Harry Potter in German.
Seriously probably the nicest people I know. They even made me a welcome basket. I was so excited to see the gummibears (Haribo the best kind so good) I dove into that the first night.
